Orpheus and Eurydice revisited
Main Article Content
Resumo
The myth of Orpheus and Eurydice was perpetuated during centuries in literature, painting, music and cinema. It is impossible to analyse all of this myth’s processes of transmission (orally / written versions and trans-mediation). However, revisiting the Orphic theme reminds me of the particular interest Professora Laura had shown in my article previously published in the journal Gaudium Sciendi. Therefore, this contribution begins with a retrospective, focusing on related works by modernists such as Goll and Kokoschka, but also by authors such as Keats and Celan.
