Abstract

The juvenile justice system takes over as the main challenge the search for effective sanctions in order to promote the rehabilitation and social reintegration of juvenile offenders. This research aims to propose an intervention program that, further than using the military education and training, combines the assessment of risks and needs, concepts of cognitive-behavioral theory and strategies from evidence-based treatments, based on a multisystemic and functional family approach, which enables a holistic view and intervention in all the systems that integrate the adolescent’s life. The main goal is the internalization of values conforming to the law and the acquisition of skills that allow an individual socially and legally responsible.
