What is the purpose of this portal?
This portal provides access to scientific journals published by the Research Centers and Faculties of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. It aims to increase the visibility and reach of publications and promote its editorial quality.
The Editorial Teams, the UCP Libraries and the Universidade Católica Editora collaborate in close partnership so that the goals of this project are achieved. It is through this synergy that the excellence quality demanded by journals and their varied audiences is sought.

 

Are the journals in Open Access?
Universidade Católica Portuguesa is committed to aligning with good Open Science practices. The journals on this portal have Open Access policies in accordance with the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, the European Union and the principles of Plan S. The journals are part of the DOAJ and SHERPA/RoMEO directories, facilitating the identification of Creative Commons licenses and Open Access policies, respectively. They are also listed in the ERIH Plus directory.
Indexing databases are identified on the individual page of each journal.

The journals included in this portal ensure scientific quality through a demanding peer-review process. Individually, each journal describes its method and process.
The Editorial Teams, despite not being members of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), adhere to the principles of the COPE Code of Conduct.
