Envelhecimento cerebral, na perspetiva das neurociências cognitivas do envelhecimento

Resumo

Começaremos este artigo por enquadrar sinteticamente a necessidade de estudar o envelhecimento cerebral, revendo de seguida as principais alterações associadas ao envelhecimento cerebral com expressão ao nível cognitivo. Discutiremos depois fatores que podem mediar a manifestação cognitiva das alterações ao nível cerebral, bem como intervenções que podem promover um melhor envelhecimento.
