Liderança servidora - evidências práticas em estudos de caso

Resumo

O presente estudo ilustra conteúdos e, em reforço, dos trabalhos desenvolvidos ao longo dos últimos anos, em que os desenvolvimentos ligados à liderança servidora ganharam maior relevância e visibilidade enquanto contributo fulcral para o desempenho das organizações. Um dos sinais relevantes nesta análise é de que a gestão de topo deve ter presente na sua atuação, enquanto processo de melhoria contínua: a qualidade de vida no trabalho - destinada a proporcionar às pessoas oportunidades no trabalho e o desenvolvimento de um sentido de satisfação, controlo e propriedade, partindo do princípio que as pessoas são responsáveis pelo sucesso na realização de objetivos e no uso eficaz dos recursos. Nos casos estudados em seis organizações positivas: empresas e organizações sem fins lucrativos consideradas bons locais para trabalhar e que têm na positividade da sua liderança, desempenhos de exceção e referencial empresarial, e que revestem parte de mais vasta investigação qualitativa, os líderes são geralmente considerados exemplos de boas práticas a seguir, representando, em diversas situações analisadas, a motivação e o orgulho para os colaboradores envolvidos. Em suma, o objetivo é que a organização se assegure de que os seus colaboradores estão comprometidos e o papel do líder enquanto servidor é aqui fundamental para o exercício da liderança em contextos de exigência e mutação constante.
